Natural stone fireplace
Very long before a heating fireplace was coverved with tiles or with marble, fireplaces were manufactured with natural stone. The natural stone fireplace thus has a long tradition which does not mean, however, that it ekes out a "dusty" existence. As for the natural stone fireplaces, the same wooden inserts are used as for marble or tiled fireplaces. The coverings can be either rustical or carved out in a more filigree way. Combinations of marble and bright sandstone are possible, too. The upper ledge of a natural stone fireplace can either be made of sandstone or as a fine beam made of red ironwood. Due to these possible variations, the natural stone fireplace can adapt to your very personal style of living. All standard fireplaces can of course be modified and adapted to special spatial requirements. This is possible because the fireplaces are manufactured in-house at Hark's.
