Fireplace production
In order to be able to react to customers' wishes optimally, HARK produces in its own production venues with permanent quality controls. In the main factory in Duisburg, the modules are prefabricated from individual tiles and packed ready for dispatch. Each individual step is checked and controlled a number of times, in order to be able to supply a perfect fireplace for every customer. In order not to have any delays between production and supply, packaging and dispatch are coordinated and carried out directly from Duisburg.
The production halls
A view of the production hall, where individual tiles for fireplaces and tiled stoves are prefabricated in modular construction. This mode of construction makes assembly by the customer himself or economical and reasonably priced assembly by Hark fitters possible. Manual work for a perfect product
The individual tiles for the fireplace or stove are taken from stock in our tile store to start with. All the tiles are placed on an easel and the colour gradient of the tile glaze is examined. The HARK fireplace tiles and their glaze are exclusively produced and glazed in manual work, making use of natural products. For tiles with a motif, each individual tile is painted by hand and matched to the other ones.
Each fireplace is unique
Slight shades of colour and deviations in the tiles mean that each fireplace or tiled stove is a unique article with a lasting value. The so-called colouring on the easel ensures that a harmonious play of colours results in the overall image of the fireplace.
Lowest possible production tolerances
From the tile store, the examined tiles are forwarded to production and placed on a table. This ensures that the tiles match up to one another and the finished tile module has the lowest possible production tolerances. At the same time, the tiles are once more checked for cracks and defects.
