Hark Eco-Plus
Reduces the firewood consumption and protects the environment!

You would like to decide to have a fireplace in order to enjoy a comfy fire on cold evenings? But you don't have a chimney in the house? If you had to go without a chimney for construction or financial reasons when you built your house, you have only been able to retrofit a chimney system with considerable efforts up to now. Extensive masonry work, wall and ceiling ducts were necessary for subsequent installation of a chimney system. With the Hark easytherm chimney, no great efforts are necessary to manage to retrofit a chimney suited for fuels (timber, solid fuels, oil, gas etc.) in a house. Amongst other things, the stainless steel chimney breast makes optimum use of renewable raw materials for heat generation possible. In combination with the Hark warm water heating inserts and wood-burning stoves, up to 50% costs can be saved. As a result of the use of non-corroding stainless steels as a material, high functional safety and low maintenance costs are guaranteed.
The use of non-corrosive stainless steels guarantees a long service life and simultaneously ensures maximum corrosion protection. As a result of the low weight, time-consuming foundation work is not necessary, As no welding work is needed for assembly ready for operation, you can attend to the assembly yourself without any problems. The low space required and the modular mode of construction permit an optimum solution for almost every object, which is then ready for operation immediately after completion. Thanks to the outstanding heat conductivity of stainless steel, the HARK easytherm chimneys reach their optimum operating temperature after only a short time, thus ensuring flawless extraction of the flue gases. The smooth surfaces in the interior of the stainless steel chimney provide practically no flow resistance and prevent more or less any deposit of exhaust gas particles and soot.
Thanks to the particular features of the HARK easytherm chimneys, they are predestined for subsequent assembly. The double-walled construction with the internal insulation layer minimises a transmission of the heat to the outer surfaces of the chimney. The easytherm system from HARK can thus also be used in timber houses without any problems.
In problematic draught situations (not long enough or local situation), the easytherm chimney system can additionally be optimised by installation of a Hurricane draft reinforcement. The Hurricane is the only draft reinforcement which has been admitted and tested in Germany for stainless steel chimney systems. The Hurricane system works free of electricity and maintenance. It can be fitted directly or subsequently and ensures an even draught of the chimney.
Additional positive side-effect: Thanks to the Hurricane draught add-on, the interior of the chimney is protected against rain, thus extending the service life. The add-on keeps the chimney draught constant, thus optimising the combustion process (lower soot deposit = more effective heat yield).
In addition to outer wall assembly, there is the possibility of achieving a very reasonably priced interior chimney with the easytherm chimney system*. The easytherm chimney can be covered with moulded stones or Promasil in order to ensure harmonious integration into the living area. Subsequent assembly of an interior stainless steel chimney is considerably cheaper and simpler than subsequent installation of a bricked exhaust air extraction unit. Even when building a new house, the covered easytherm chimney is a favourably priced alternative to a customary chimney. The disadvantage of such bricked chimneys or ones made of system elements is the great amount of maintenance needed and the costs connected with this.
