Marble fireplaces

Marble fireplaces

It has become more and more popular in the past years to use fine marble for the covering of a fireplace. And yet, due to the individual structure and veining of the marble, every marble fireplace is unique and does not exist a second time in the world. By means of modern techniques, the marble quarrying could be increased in the past 20 years in such a way that today, a marble fireplace can be afforded by every house builder. Because of Hark's own procuction centers, individual manufactures to measure are also possible for fireplaces made of marble. In labour-intensive, manual work, the high-quality material is processed carefully and skillfully down to the smallest detail. The function principle of the marble fireplace corresponds to that of the tiled fireplace. These two fireplaces only differ from each other by the covering material. In case of a marble fireplace, too, living rooms bordering on the fireplace covering can be heated, too, by installing ventilation grilles.

Even if no chimney is available, one need not do without the fireplace experience. HARK offers electric fires and ethanol fires for nearly any type of fireplace or facade. The amazingly realistic imitation of fireplace embers that our electric fires can offer, creates a homely atmosphere. Furthermore, the integrated fan of the installed heating with a heating capacity of approx. 2 kW gently distributes the heat in the installation room, so that the electric fireplace still is a useful addition to the heating in the in-between season. In addition to that, our electric fires are equipped with a remote control with which you can adjust the adjustable flame effect or the heating output without having to get up from your couch.

The ethanol fire makes a realistic open fire possible without a chimney, too. This is done by means of a burner that has been approved of by the Technical Control Association TÜV and in which the fuel liquid burns cleanly. During the combustion process, only steam and carbon dioxide will scape, two natural substances that we breathe in and out. Most of our Ethanol fires are delivered with ceramic wood imitations that even reinforce the impression of an open fire.

Marble facades

Marble facades

Marble or style facades with open hearths have been used for heating rooms for centuries. In former times, they were only to be found in castles and in larger country seats. But because of the industrial quarrying of marble and granite in the last decades, everybody can afford the installation of an elegant marble facade these days. Today, a marble facade is very seldomly equipped with an open hearth. More often, only a heating element with an inspection glass is installed, which is technically comparable to the heating elements of tiled fireplaces or of marble fireplaces. The heating elements of the facades, however, are generally more distinctive with their larger furnace and larger inspection glass. Due to the installation of heating elements inside the facades,  a much higher efficiency and thus heating capacity are achieved compared to a marble facade with an open hearth. Add something special to your living ambience by installing a style facade made of marble or granite.
