The ECOplus technique

ECOplus is a development by the firm of HARK in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institut. Compared with customary fireplaces, the ECOplus system excels thanks to a combustion area with a specific geometry in combination with a highly developed air guidance and a ceramic fine-dust filter. The covering of the combustion area comprises a high-strength, smooth special ceramic material.

All these components together mean that the pollutants in the waste gas are distinctly minimised and the degree of efficiency of the fireplace distinctly increased. The specific ceramic material ensures efficient head radiation, which is reflected in an outstanding radiation heat for the user. The fuel consumption for ECOplus fireplaces is up to 40% below that of conventional Hark-units.
